Initial specifications
The funding application planned a hybrid hardware and software solution built on a data processing and storage platform, with the following components:
- 1 × 42U rack
- 2 × UPS units
- 2 × modular security services appliances
- 2 × top-of-rack switches
- 2 × interconnect switches
- 4 × hybrid processing–storage nodes
- Interfaces and interconnection cables (SFP/QSFP etc.)
